HOW TO make pichi pichi

     First, prepare the needed ingredients needed for this recipe. Next is to cut and peel the cassava and remove the middle part of cassava then grate it. After that drain the grated cassava for 30 minutes and then add sugar, salt and coconut milk unto it. Mix it well until well combined, then add some vanilla and then grease pan with oil and pour out the cassava mixture and steam it for 30-50 minutes. After that just flip the cassava upside down and then divide it into more smaller pieces and then add grated cheese for toppings. Now you can enjoy your sweet and delicate snack for the day.

How many kilo of cassava do i need for this recipe?

You’ll just need a kilo of cassava, but the amount of cassava you’ll need will always be determined by the number of people who will eat it.

What does it looks like when it is already cooked?

After steaming it for 30-50  minutes until just firm your pichi pichi recipe would look like  transparent like a gelatin. 

Tips on Cooking this recipe

  • You can either buy cassava that has already been grated and then defrost it yourself. 
  • You can add other toppings instead of cheese, it depends on your preference.
