HOW TO COOK Bangus steak

In a bowl, season the bangus with liquid seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and calamansi juice and coat them well then marinate for 1 hour or overnight. In a preheated pan, put some oil and fry garlic until crispy or golden brown then set aside. In another pan, put some oil then add onion and soy sauce then sauté. Then dash some black pepper add sugar and seasoning. Add some onions and add the slurry mixture then mix, after making the sauce, add the fried bangus and sprinkle it with fried garlic and garnish with parsley.

Yes, deboning the fish is necessary to make Bangus Steak so that it is simple to consume and enjoy. You can ask the fish vendor to debone it for you if you don’t feel like doing it yourself.

Can I use lemon juice instead of calamansi juice for the marinade?

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 12 pcs Calamansi
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 10 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Liquid Seasoning
  • 3 pcs Red Onion
  • Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Water
