Heat a pot and drizzle in cooking oil.
Sauté ginger, then add in onions and garlic.
Once onions are translucent, add in the chicken and stir fry.
Season with fish sauce and black pepper.
Continue to stir fry the chicken for a few minutes.
Add in sayote slices and stir fry for a while.
Pour in rice wash water and mix.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 15minutes.
Drop in beef cubes and stir.
Continue to cook until sayote are tender.
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and a dash of black pepper to taste.
Mix then add in chili leaves and let it cook for a while.
Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
Serve and enjoy.
