Tinolang Manok Recipe - Chicken Tinola (Hindi Manok na May Tubig)

Ingredients

  • 500 grams Chicken sliced
  • 1 piece Ginger 3 thumbs size
  • 1 piece Onion sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 bunch Chili Leaves
  • 3 cups Rice Wash Water
  • 1 piece Chicken Cubes
  • 2-3 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1-2 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • Black Pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Heat a pot and drizzle in cooking oil.
  • Sauté ginger, then add in onions and garlic.
  • Once onions are translucent, add in the chicken and stir fry.
  • Season with fish sauce and black pepper.
  • Continue to stir fry the chicken for a few minutes.
  • Add in sayote slices and stir fry for a while.
  • Pour in rice wash water and mix.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for 15minutes.
  • Drop in beef cubes and stir.
  • Continue to cook until sayote are tender.
  • Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and a dash of black pepper to taste.
  • Mix then add in chili leaves and let it cook for a while.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Serve and enjoy.
