  • 548 grams squid
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup lemon soda Sprite
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • salt
  • pepper


  • First, debone all the squid.
  • In a hot pan, add some cooking oil.
  • Sauté 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1 piece of chopped onion.
  • Next, add the 548 grams of deboned squids then sauté with the onion and garlic.
  • Add 1/3 cup of soy sauce. Let it simmer then add 1/4 cup vinegar.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of sugar then stir.
  • Gradually add the 1/2 cup of lemon soda then let it simmer. Stir it from time to time.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Lastly, add 2 finger chili then let it simmer again.
