Pinaka Masarap na LECHON PORK BELLY (Super Crispy ang Balat)

Ingredients

  • 2.5 Kilograms Pork Belly
  • 1 Piece White Onion
  • 1 Piece Bell Pepper
  • 5 Stalks Lemon grass
  • 6 Stalks Scallions
  • 1 Piece Ginger
  • 1 Bulb Garlic
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Sugar
  • Cooking Oil
  • Soy Sauce

Instructions

  • Prepare 2.5 kg of pork belly and slightly cut pork belly meat (vertical & horizontally).
  • Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, and sugar to taste.
  • Rub the seasoning all over the meat.
  • Sprinkle again with salt and black pepper.
  • Add 1 bulb of garlic (minced), 1 piece of white onion, 1 piece ginger, 1 piece of bell pepper, 6 stalks of scallions, and 5 stalks of lemongrass.
  • Roll the pork belly.
  • Tie the pork belly.
  • Preheat the oven.
  • Bake for 2 hours in 180 C.
  • Turn pork belly to cook evenly as needed.
  • Brush the belly with oil and soy sauce for every 30 minutes.
  • Bake for another 1 ½ hour in 200 C.
  • Remove the pork belly tie and serve.
