- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp garlic grated
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tbsp water to dissolve cornstarch
In a sauce pan, mix in sugar, water, soy sauce, vinegar and garlic.
Bring to a boil.
Prepare cornstarch mixture by dissolving 1tsp cornstarch with water.
Pour in cornstarch mixture and stir.
Simmer until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat, transfer to a sauce bowl and serve.
