HOW TO COOK TIKOY (NIAN GAO)
Servings: 4 people
- 500 grams tikoy (nian gao)
- 1 pc egg
- cooking oil for frying
Slice tikoy in small thin 1”x 2” portions.
In a bowl, beat egg.
Heat a pan and add cooking oil for deep frying.
Once oil is hot, get a tikoy slices and dip it in the egg before putting them in the pan . Do not overcrowd the pan.
Fry until golden brown in color.
Remove from heat and drain excess oil.
Transfer to a plate, serve and enjoy.
