MINI CORN DOG RECIPE ( Using MAYA Hot Cake Mix )

Ingredients

  • 8 pcs hotdog jumbo size
  • 250 grams Maya Pancake mix
  • 1 pc egg
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • cooking oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • Cut hotdogs in half.
  • Insert the skewers or sticks more than half way through in the hotdogs
  • In a bowl, pour in pancake mix, egg oil and water in a bowl, mix until it is well combined.
  • Transfer the batter in a tall glass.
  • Heat cooking oil in a pan for deep frying.
  • Dip hotdogs in the batter, make sure that the hotdogs are fully and evenly coated. then drop them in the oil.
  • Constantly turn the hotdogs so that the batter will cook evenly on all sides.
  • Remove from heat once its golden brown in color.
  • Repeat steps 6-9 for the rest of the skewed hotdogs.
  • Drain corndogs for excess oil.
  • Transfer to a plate and serve.
