CRISPY ONION RINGS RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 1 pc white onion large size
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 1/3 cup milk/water cold
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • bread crumbs
  • cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  • Peel the skin of white onion and cut off the top and bottom part.
  • Slice the onion into rings.
  • Separate the sliced onions into individual rings.
  • In a bowl, pour in flour and cornstarch.
  • Season with a pinch of salt, a dash of black pepper and garlic powder.
  • Add cold milk and mix well.
  • Get a piece of onion ring and dip it in the batter.
  • Coat it with bread crumbs.
  • Repeat step 7 and 8 for the rest of the rings.
  • Heat a pan and pour in cooking oil for frying.
  • Deep fry onion rings until it becomes golden brown in color.
  • Remove from heat and drain for excess oil.
  • Plate and serve with your preferred dip. Enjoy!
