Sautéed Sardines with Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 336 grams cabbage
  • 1 can sardines
  • 1 piece onion
  • 2 pcs tomato
  • 1 piece chicken broth cubes
  • 1 and 1/2 cup water
  • salt
  • black ground pepper

Instructions

  • Sauté 1 piece of chopped onion, 2 pieces of tomato slices until in turns light brown in color.
  • Add 1 can of sardines in tomato sauce. Sauté the sardines with the onion and tomatoes.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 cup of water consecutively then let it simmer for a while. 
  • Add the chicken broth cubes to enhance the flavor. Adjust the flavor by adding a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Add some sugar, add the amount of sugar according to your preference or you can choose to put or not to put sugar. 
  • Let it simmer for a while before putting in the cabbage.  Pour another 1/2 cup of water then cover it with the lid to let it simmer.
