Easy Popcorn Shrimp Recipe ( Shrimp Poppers )

Ingredients

  • 15 pcs Shrimp shelled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Spanish Paprika
  • 1 pc Egg
  • 3 tbsp Fresh milk
  • Coooking Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • Mix all purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika and chili powder in a bowl.
  • Divide the flour mixture into two, set aside the other half.
  • Dredge shrimp in the flour mixture.
  • In a separate bowl, mix in egg, milk and chili powder until well blended.
  • Dip the shrimp in the egg mixture then dredge it again in the other half of the flour mixture.
  • Heat cooking oil for deep frying in a pan.
  • Deep fry shrimp until golden brown in color.
  • Once shrimp is cooked, remove from oil and drain from excess oil.
  • Transfer to a plate and serve.
