Heat 2 to 3 cups of cooking oil in a pan.
Place tofu in a strainer and dip it in the pan to deep fry until it gets golden brown in color.
Remove strainer from oil and drain the tofu for excess oil.
Heat oil in a larger pan.
Sauté onion, then add garlic.
Once onion is translucent and garlic is golden brown, add in bell pepper.
Season with a dash of black pepper then mix.
Add in mayonnaise and mix.
Add2 tbsp water and mix.
Add another 2 tbsps of water and continue mixing.
Put in oyster sauce, mix well.
Season with salt as needed.
Add in fried tofu and mix until it is well combined with the sauce.
Sprinkle with sliced green chili on top.
Remove from heat, serve and enjoy.
