Put chicken in a bowl or container.
Pour in pineapple juice.
Rub in sugar, soy sauce, salt and a dash of black pepper to the chicken.
Mix well, cover the container and marinate overnight.
Heat cooking oil in a pot.
Put in chicken and fry each side of the chicken for 6 minutes.
Remove chicken from pot and set aside.
On the same pot, sauté onions.
Add in garlic once onions are translucent. Sauté until garlic is golden brown.
Add pan fried chickens.
Pour in the marinate, cover and bring to a boil.
Simmer each side of the chicken for 8 to 10 minutes.
Add in sliced pineapples and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Remove from heat, serve and enjoy.
