Baked Tahong - Cheesy Buttered Garlic Tahong Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500 grams Tahong/ Mussels
  • 100 grams Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 3 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tbsp Parsley
  • 1/4- 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • Quickmelt Cheese
  • Water

Instructions

  • Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
  • The tahong is then placed in the saucepan and cooked until the shells open
  • Melt the butter in a separate saucepan, then flour and garlic are added, and everything is thoroughly combined.
  • Add the milk and stir it thoroughly before adding the seasonings (salt, pepper, paprika), followed by the parsley.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture into the Tahong, and then sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake it 7 minutes at 180 degrees, bake for an additional 2-3 minutes at 200 degrees until the cheese is burnt.
  • Sprinkle some parsley over it next, then serve and enjoy.
