Carioca Balls Recipe - Pinoy Merienda Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Glutinous Rice Flour
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup Desiccated Coconut
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • Sticks/Skewers

Instructions

  • Prepare all of the essential ingredients
  • Combine the 2 cups glutinous rice flour and 1 cup desiccated coconut, followed by the coconut milk.
  • Mix it all together, then gradually add the coconut milk, scoop it out, and roll it into a ball. 
  • Deep fry it until somewhat light brown, but before frying it will be helpful that you will be stitching in the center.
  • Used the oil and add sugar to make caramelized sugar.
  • After you've coated all of your carioca, take the sticks and skewer the Carioca Balls.
