HOW TO MAKE TUNA MUSHROOM QUICHE

 

First is to prepare all the needed ingredients and then grab a bowl and put the 1 & ½ cup of flour, 1 tablespoon sugar and add ½ teaspoon salt and mix it well. After that add ½ cup of butter and mix it  and add 3 tablespoon cold milk(Gradually) and knead the dough mixture with your hand and after that rest the dough for 1 hour. After 1 hour, use the rolling pin to flatten the dough. After you flatten the dough, put it into the pan and use a fork to flatten the edges. Next, put the parchment paper and add the dry beans as a (pie weight to ensure a flaky and not soggy pie crust) and bake it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes remove the dry beans and parchment paper. And after that you need 2 cans of tuna (drained) and cook the tuna into the pan and add 1 can of small mushrooms,1 piece of white onion and mix it well. And after that you need 3 eggs and add ½ cup of milk,½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper , ½ teaspoon garlic powder, add ¼ cup parsley and ½ cup of grated cheese and mix it well. And after that add the tuna and mushrooms into the pie and pour the egg mixture,add ¼ cup milk and mix it well and bake it for 50 minutes.

 

what pan can i use on making this recipe?

The best vessel for baking a crustless quiche is a good quality, sturdy glass or ceramic pan. These materials transfer heat more evenly and softly to your quiche. You’re begging for a charred exterior and wibbly-wobbly interior if you bake it in an aluminum pan or a metal pie plate.

can i use spicy tuna flakes?

It all depends on your preferences and taste and of course you can replace a regular Tuna Flakes and turn it into a Spicy Tuna Flakes, it will enhanced the flavour of the quiche and surely spicy lovers would love that!
