HOW TO COOK Sisig Fried Rice / Homemade Sisig Rice

     Let’s begin by cooking an egg to be used as a topping. In a pan cook eggs sunny side up in low fire. Drizzle with salt and pepper to taste. Once eggs are cooked, remove from pan and set aside.

     In the same pan, stir fry sisig until meat is cooked. Add onions and garlic and continue to stir fry. Once onions are translucent, add left over rice and mix until ingredients are well combined. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce then mix well. Season with black pepper and salt if needed and continue to stir fry. Add chopped onion chives and mix.

     Transfer to a bowl and top with sunny side up egg. Serve and enjoy.Driz

The one we used for the dish can be bought in supermarkets and groceries and meat specialty stores. 

can we use fresh pork parts?

Yes, however, it will take you a longer cooking time since you need to prepare and cook the sisig first before incorporating it with the rice.

  • 225 grams Sisig
  • 3 cups Leftover Rice
  • 2 pieces Egg
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 30 grams Oyster Sauce
  • Onion chives garnish
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Cooking Oil

Instructions
