How to Prepare Simple Syrup

To make syrup for pancake, use washed sugar. Prepare the same amount of water and sugar. In this case, we will use 1/4 cup of both. Use a saucepan or skillet and spatula

First put the water into the saucepan. Add the sugar and let the mixture boil until the sugar gets dissolved. Mix it using the spatula. Let it boil for 1 to 2 minutes for cocktails and drinks use while 3 to 4 minutes for pancakes.

You can add vanilla extract for pancake syrup. After boiling, let it cool first before moving it into a container.

Tips when making a Simple Syrup for pancakes and beverages

Sugar dissolves into the water, if you have 1 cup of water and 1cup of sugar it is not equal to 2 cups. its approximately 1 1/2 cup depends on your desire thickness.

Simple Syrup For Drinks/Shakes: Boil your Ingredients for at-least 1-2 minutes or until sugar dissolve, boiling also depends on the amount of your measurements, the more ingredients takes more time for boiling.

Simple Syrup for Pancakes: Boil your Ingredients for atleast 3-4 minutes until your Syrup are thickened add vanilla extract 1/8 tsp (for 1/4 cup boil until 3-4minutes let it cools down and see the result)
