This mouthwatering dish is unbelievable easy to make. As simple as marinating the chicken wings in spices, cornstarch and egg, coating it with flour and deep frying it in oil, you can now enjoy this delectable dish.

     To cook crispy fried chicken wings, first cut the chicken wings in half. Marinate it by placing the chicken wings in a large bowl, then add Fish sauce, cornstarch, Garlic powder, a dash of black pepper and egg. Mix until all the chicken wings are evenly covered of the mixture.

     Next, preheat cooking oil in a pan. Drench each chicken wings in flour before frying. Fry in medium heat until it turns to golden brown. Remove from pan and drain from excess oil. Transfer to a plate, serve and enjoy.

where can we buy garlic powder?

Garlic powder can be bought in supermarkets and some groceries. 

What can be used as garlic substitute?

Crushed garlic can be used as substitute if garlic powder is not available.

Tips on Cooking this recipe

  • For best results use fresh chicken wings (not the frozen one from groceries)
  • You can add chili flakes or chili powder if you prefer a kick of spice.
  • Rest the chicken a little longer after drenching it in flour. Fry them once the flour coating looks a little gooey, it will make a much crispier result.

  • 582 grams Chicken wings
  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 pc Egg
  • Black Pepper
  • Cooking Oil

Instructions

  • Cut chicken wings in half.
  • In a large bowl,  put in chicken wings, Fish sauce, cornstarch, Garlic powder, a dash of black pepper and egg. Mix until all the chicken wings are entirely covered with the mixture.
