How to Make Ham and Chees Roll a Pinoy Merienda. Ham and cheese Roll is usually serve during merienda and pica pica. A very affordable dish. Best Serve while hot and with Dip. You may use Ketchup and Mayo for your dip or any dressing you want.

Ingredients:

35.60 grams Cheese
5 pieces Bread loaf
5 pieces Ham
1 cup Bread Crumbs
1-2 pieces Egg
Cooking oil

Procedure:

  1. Flatten the loaves of bread using a rolling pin.
  2. Cut the edges of the bread.
  3. Add one whole ham on top of a loaf of bread.
  4. Put one slice of cheese on the side of the bread on top of the ham.
  5. Roll the bread.
  6. Use toothpicks so the bread rolls will stay rolled.
  7. Beat two eggs on a bowl.
  8. Dip the bread rolls into the egg using your left hand.
  9. Then roll them onto the bread crumbs using your right hand.
  10. Next, put enough cooking oil in a hot pan.
  11. Fry the bread rolls until you reach the golden brown color.

  • I always deep fry these bread rolls for a more crunchy texture. You can do them in the oven by arranging them on in a single layer on a baking sheet and then lightly spraying them on top with nonstick cooking spray (this will help them brown.) Enjoy! ??
