A simple white sauce known also as béchamel sauce has it’s origin in French cuisine. A classic béchamel sauce is made with butter flour and milk. 

For this pasta instead of using butter we chose olive oil  and in place of flour and milk we use heavy cream.

Garlic Shrimp and Bacon Pasta Ingredients:

  • 120 grams bacon
  • 150 grams shrimp
  • 4 tbsp. parsley
  • 1 piece white onion
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups all-purpose cream
  • 250 grams pasta
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • salt
  • black ground pepper
  • olive oil(or cooking oil)

Instructions

In a large cooking pan, heat 1 to 2 tablespoon of cooking oil. Fry 120 grams of cut into squares bacon and 150 grams of deshelled shrimp. Gradually add a pinch of salt while cooking. Pan fry until the Bacon and Shrimp turns light brown in color then transfer in a clean bowl. Set aside for later.

In the same pan, saute 6 cloves of minced garlic and 1 piece of sliced onion. When the garlic and onion are cooked  pour 2 cups of All-purpose cream. Stir to mix the ingredients. Add 1 cup of Parmesan cheese and 4 Tbsp of Parsley. Stir then let the sauce boil for a while.  Add precook bacon and shrimp. Mix the shrimp and bacon with the white sauce well. Gradually add the precook pasta in the white sauce mixture. Make sure all the pasta is evenly coated with the white sauce. 

Serve and Enjoy!
