Chicken Cordon Bleu ( Chicken Recipe ) -Pinoy Christmas Recipes
Chicken Cordon Bleu ( Chicken Recipe ) Pinoy Christmas Recipes. Cordon Bleu a Dish composed of wrapped meat with ham and cheese. Dredge in flour and bread crumbs then deep fry or Bake.
Ingredients:
385 grams Chicken breast
2 pieces Sweet ham
2 pieces Egg
1/2 cup All-purpose flour
2 slices Cheese
80 grams Bread crumbs
Salt
Ground pepper
Cooking oil

Procedure:
- Using a knife, make some slices on the chicken breast so that the chicken meat will be flat that would make it easier to pound, again, using a knife.
- Note that you can use other tools to flatten the chicken like a meat mallet.
- Sprinkle some salt and ground pepper onto the chicken then rub it.
- Add a slice of ham on top of it, then a slice of cheese.
- Roll the chicken then set aside. Repeat the process to the remaining chicken breast.
- You can use a cling wrap to wrap the chicken so it will stay rolled. You can use a toothpick too.
- Chill it for an hour.
- Prepare 3 separate deep wide plates each for the bread crumbs, flour, and beaten egg.
- For the egg coat, you need two pieces of egg, add salt and pepper, then beat it.
- Dredge the chicken roll into the flour.
- Coat with the egg, then dredge in the bread crumbs, then set aside. Repeat process to the remaining chicken roll.
- Preheat a pan with the amount of oil enough to fry half of the side of the chicken roll.
- Fry each side of the chicken roll until golden brown.
- Drain excess oil using a paper towel then set aside.
- Slice the chicken and it’s ready to serve.
