HOW TO COOK Breaded Cheese Roll

     Begin to cook this amazing snack by flattening the bread slices. Next, Layer in cheese slices on the bottom edge of the bread. Roll the bread and cheese to the top edge. Wet the top edge of the bread with water to seal it.

     In a deep dish, beat in eggs. Soak cheese rolls in the beaten egg then coat it with bread crumbs.

     Heat a pan and pour in oil for deep frying. Deep fry cheese rolls until they turn golden brown in color. Drain from excess oil using a paper towel. Transfer to a plate, serve and enjoy.  

Can we use other cheese variants for this recipe?

Definitely! However, cheddar, quickmelt and other cheese variants that easily melts might drip from the ends of the rolls.

Tips on Cooking this recipe

  • You can place as much cheese as you desire.
  • To avoid crumbs from sticking to your hand, in coating the rolls, use one hand for dipping in the eggs and the other hand for coating in crumbs.

  • 5-7 pieces Bread Loaf Slice
  • 80 grams Cheese sliced
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 2 pieces Eggs
  • Cooking Oil
  • Water

Instructions

  • Flatten bread slices.
  • Layer in cheese slices on the bottom edge of the bread.
  • Roll the bread and filling to the top of edge.
  • Wet the top edge of the bread with water to seal it.
  • Beat eggs in a deep plate.
  • Soak cheese rolls in the beaten egg.
  • Coat it with bread crumbs.
  • Repeat procedure for the rest of the bread slices and cheese.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Deep fry cheese rolls until they turn golden brown in color.
  • Drain from excess oil using a paper towel.
  • Plate, serve and enjoy.
