HOW TO make the Best Tuna Sandwich

     Begin with draining 2 cans of tuna flakes. Then, pour in drained tuna in a mixing bowl. Add in mayonnaise and mix well. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.

     To assemble the sandwich, first lay a lettuce leaf on a bread slice. Next, spread 3-4 teaspoons tuna mixture on top of the leaf. Stack with another bread slice. Repeat procedure for the remaining bread slices and tuna mixture.

You can stack up more bread slices and slice bread in half if desired. Serve and enjoy.

What can we use if mayonnaise is not available?

You can make your own mayonnaise at the comfort of your home with just 3 basic ingredients, egg, oil and salt.

What can we use as lettuce substitute?

You can use cabbage leaves, however, blanch it in water for a few minutes before adding it up in the sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Tuna Flakes 155 grams each
  • 6 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 8-10 pcs Bread Loaf
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Lettuce optional

Instructions

  • Drain canned tuna flakes.
  • In a bowl, pour in drained tuna flakes.
  • Add mayonnaise and mix well.
  • Season with salt and Black pepper and mix until well blended.
  • Lay a lettuce leaf on a bread slice.
  • Spread 3-4 teaspoons tuna mixture on top of the leaf.
  • Stack with another bread slice.
