Add breading mix in 1 piece boneless bangus (milkfish). In a pan, add oil for frying. Add 6 cloves of minced garlic. Fry the garlic until brown or crispy. Remove the garlic from the oil. Then, fry the breaded bangus until golden brown or crispy. In a clean pan, add 1-2 tbsp of cooking oil and 1 tbsp of butter and let it melt. Add 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 & 1/2 tbsp of calamansi juice, 1 sachet of oyster sauce, 1/3 tsp of sugar and a dash of black pepper. Mix until well combined. Add 1 cup of water. Stir well. Let simmer. In a small bowl, add 1 tbsp of cornstarch and 1 tbsp of water (slurry). Pour the slurry into the simmering sauce. Add 1/2 tsp of sugar into the sauce. In a sizzling plate, add the fried bangus. Pour in the Ala Pobre Sauce. Add sliced white onion and fried garlic on top.
