This simple and budget friendly pasta dish is so easy to make. Starting by cooking the pasta, then cooking the sauce by sautéing the corned chicken, adding cream, water and seasonings, then tossing in the pasta!

HOW TO COOK CORNED CHICKEN PASTA RECIPE ( Simple Argentina Corned Chicken Recipe )

     Let’s start by cooking the pasta. First, pour in water in a pot, add salt and bring into a boil. Once boiling, add in pasta. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until pasta is al dente. Drain pasta and set aside. Keep the pasta water for later.

     For cooking the sauce, heat pan and pour corned chicken. Add in the all purpose cream, mix and bring into a boil. Now add ¼ cup of pasta water, mix and boil. Season with sugar and a dash of black pepper to taste. Mix the sauce and simmer. Toss is cooked pasta and mix well until fully combined with the sauce. Lastly, remove from heat, plate and serve.

It may be available in sari-sari stores in your neighborhood but just to make sure, you may buy it in groceries.

What if I was not able to save the pasta water?

You can use plain water, just make sure to add a bit of salt to taste.

Tips on Cooking this recipe

  • Stir the pasta occasionally when cooking it to prevent it from sticking in the pot.
  • Make sure the pasta is cooked al dente so that it wouldn’t be soggy once you mix it with the hot sauce.

  • 250 grams pasta
  • 1 can Argentina Corned Chicken 150 grams
  • 1 pack All purpose cream 250 ml
  • 1.5 liters water
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • black pepper
