How to cook Crispy Fried Calamares

Crispy Fried Calamares

To cook a Crispy Fried Calamari, first place the squid rings in a medium-size bowl. Pour 1 sachet of breading mix into the bowl and 1 piece of egg. Add condiments such as pepper and salt to adjust the flavor of the mixture according to your taste. Coat evenly the squid rings with the mixture. 

On a clean plate pour another sachet of a breading mix. At the same time, prepare a deep pan with preheat cooking oil enough to fully submerged the squid rings for deep frying. 

Dredge or coat the seasoned squid in another layer of a breading mix before frying. Deep fry for 3 minutes or so until the squid turns golden brown in color. Transfer the cooked calamares to a serving plate. Serve with a vinegar dip mixed with minced onions.
